    In today's constantly changing landscape within the green industry, it is easy to get caught up with the newness and never-ending challenges needed to stay relevant and current. In fact, it can be quite overwhelming for employees, managers, leaders and owners.
    That is where the art of "centering" comes into play.  The ability to always go back to the center of the circle instead of chasing all of the moving pieces that distract attention. The center of any business should be found in three key areas of influence-Vision, Values and Volition.
    Does our vision lend clarity and focus to our work? Do our values support our vision? And do we have the volition to engage, encourage, and execute our vision through strong leadership, systems, and standards?
