    The Sr. HR Specialist will be responsible for significantly serving CFP employees and supporting the Senior Human Resource Manager by playing a key role in executing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals.  This position serves as a subject matter expert in various HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and HR analytics.  The Senior HR Specialist partners with leadership and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    HR Manager
    Blackhawk Mining, LLC • Blue Creek Complex | Charleston 

    As HR Manager, the selected candidate will oversee a wide range of responsibilities that impact every stage of the employee lifecycle, including:

    • Driving policy and compliance with employment laws and company standards
    • Leading full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
    • Supporting employee relations, performance management, and engagement
    • Administering leave programs, accommodations and supporting benefits administration
    • Managing workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
    • Coordinating training and career development initiatives
    • Maintaining HRIS data, staffing charts, and reporting
    • Representing the company in workforce and community programs
    • Partnering on HR projects, audits, and system upgrades

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of progressive HR experience in employee relations, recruitment, and compliance
    • Strong communication skills and working knowledge of HR laws and best practices
    • HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
